What’s New in Supply’d V4.7.7: Smarter Ordering, Better Shopify, and a New Look

V4.7.7 is all about smarter systems, cleaner workflows, and clearer data. Whether you're managing orders, production, delivery, or expenses, this release makes it easier to stay in control — and move faster.

Smarter Ordering Just Landed
Smart Ordering is here.
You can now generate purchase orders automatically based on suggested quantities or historical sales data — saving you time and reducing stockouts.
Support for International Currencies
You can now buy in any currency your supplier supports.
Set your supplier’s currency, record the AUD equivalent + duties at the time of payment, and Supply’d will handle conversions + COGS calculations automatically.
Redesigned Order Screen
The order screen has had a full makeover — it’s cleaner, faster, and shows you more at a glance.
Checkout Gets Smarter Too
We now show suggested order quantities (or stock available for transfers) right in the checkout screen, so you can make faster, smarter decisions.
Change Shipping Rules Without Modifying Orders
You can now update the shipping rule on any Supply’d order without editing the order itself. Just go to the order > Actions > Change Shipping Rule.
Need to update the fee too? Use the Modify Order option.
Shopify, Rebuilt from the Ground Up
We’re now officially a certified Shopify integration 🎉
We’ve rebuilt the integration to work with the latest Shopify API, making things faster and more reliable. New improvements include:
- Auto-assigning sales channels on product sync
- Faster and more accurate inventory sync — especially for slow-moving or stagnant stock
Important: After this update, reconnect your integration via Settings > Integrations > Shopify. A red banner will guide you through the update once it's live.
Production Just Got Smarter
- Ingredient Size Changes now automatically update all connected recipes — no more sync issues or miscosting.
- Ingredient Usage History + Predictions are now shown on the ingredient view screen, combining usage and sales data to make ordering simpler.
Delivery Module Enhancements
- You’ll now see a green message once delivery optimisation finishes — no need to refresh and check.
- Individual delivery runs can now have their own start times and max durations.
- A new “Errors” stat makes it easy to see if any orders couldn’t be optimised.
Reporting Just Got More Powerful
- Minor UI updates to bring Reports in line with the rest of the app
- Tax column added to all Sales reports
- Filter Sales/Margin by Product or Category by supplier
- More filters in Inventory → By Batch
A More Customisable Homepage
The home dashboard is now editable.
You can choose which dashboards you see and configure them per user.
Go to the home screen > 3 Dots > Edit Dashboards — and watch this space for more dashboard widgets coming soon.
Expenses: Smarter Margins, Easier Processing
- Supply’d now auto-splits large PDF files into chunks of 3 pages, so multi-page expenses flow seamlessly
- Live margin calcs now include shipping costs, currency conversions, duties, and card fees
Customer Improvements
- You can now display stock available on customer price lists — great for wholesale buyers.
Xero Integration Improvements
When a bill is marked as paid in Xero, that payment status now syncs back to Supply’d — so you’ll see purchase orders marked as paid automatically.
Lite Enhancements
For our Supply’d Lite users, we’ve rolled out several design tweaks and bug fixes to make everyday ordering smoother and faster.
Oh, and a New Website Too
Yep — we gave the Supply’d website a full refresh.
New visuals. Clearer messaging. Better explanations of what we actually do.
